Your GTC Weekly Top Ten: 12 January 2015
“It’s because they’re shit scared of social media! They’re shit scared of somebody killing it before it’s started. One of the main differences for me is that bands these days are careerists.” –
Noel Gallagher
Well, mostly Mr.Gallagher but we get what you’re saying oh wise one.
The GTC would like to thank all our new social media friends. We love the fact you dig real artists who make actual music themselves (with actual instruments). We hope to continue to please you as we continue to search the planet and salute these great music makers.
This week we learned that if your name is Dave Grohl and have a birthday only the best names in music show up at your party and amaze, Germany’s copyright laws are troublesome, Marilyn Manson invented grunge or something like that, Texas music is still getting more awesome, don’t do drugs, life making it as a songwriter is easier but you have to work hard for success, Feral Conservatives sign a record deal and the great Kinky Friedman is still crazier and cooler than near everyone.
