In a near rare occurrence in modern times, there is a duo making beautiful dreampop/shoegaze and every word written about their wares rings true. Rolling Stone has said of UMMAGMA, “Full kaleidoscope of sounds, harmonies, and musical instruments…”, as Clash Magazine reviewed, “Otherworldly climes, matching heavenly vocals to arrangements as complex as they are hopelessly beautiful.”, and in a YouTube post, FORKSTER Music Promotions commented on the recent single “High Day”, “My ear modules experienced a massive ethereal music dynamo.”. And I couldn’t agree more with all these lovely sentiments.
