Don’t be fooled by love, VIDEO/SINGLE: THE BLANK TAPES – Pure Evil [CJ Brion, DOP]
The Blank Tapes – Pure Evil is available on the Look Into The Light EP @ Bandcamp.

by Walter Price
Going a few steps further than that of the Eagles’ “Witchy Woman”, The Blank Tapes recent single “Pure Evil” minces no sentiments in describing the bewitching attributes/powers of their song’s seductress. Warning, advising, that, at times her powers are so strong that you’ll need divine protection. The kaleidoscopic video, shot by CJ Brion on location in what appears to be Joshua Tree, depicts a dreamlike version of the Garden of Eden. Brilliantly utilizing light and color to add texture to the desires. And if folklore is accurate this perceived setting, is the ultimate location of temptation.
And you can watch the trippy film below and try and catch the band on their current tour.
