To paraphrase my GTC DEEP CUTS review from June 14, 2023, regarding Broken Baby’s 2019 track “My Head’s A Television”, “A chainsaw post-punk punk-rock single with the outfit’s founding duo Amber Bollinger and Alex Dezen volleying pointed vocals and dagger-like riffs in this song about, as I hear it, digital brainwashing via (social) media, screens, and constant bombardment of content. YIKES, we’re all drowning in new virtual religions… And it’s only worsened since 2019. C’est la vie…Je suppose.

Filmed live by Kate Skales at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach, CA, and featuring the band’s near and dear, the Bollinger-edited video encapsulates all the punk rock energy Broken Baby’s enduring mythos has come to embody.
