Tanya Donelly: Voice For The Ages

We would like to wish Tanya Donelly a very Happy 47th Birthday! I think we’re either a month late or right on time with these wishes. It really doesn’t matter, now does it? What really matters is the voice she’s been providing the music scene since her teenage years.

Donelly has been part of three of the best groundbreaking  rock formations in music lore. Throwing Muses, The Breeders and Belly. Doing more for alt-rock, college rock, female rock than just about anyone you’ll be able to think of. Seriously, try to think of a more prolific and/or important voice.
