Dopamine are a new band who have so far released two singles, “Remedy” and “Epiphany”, both of which have been featured here as tracks of the day. The band recently posted an awesome live version of one of their songs “FISP”.

Cherry Glazerr are from Los Angeles and ‘Ohio’ is the lead track from their second record Stuffed & Ready. The general consensus seems to be they’ve evolved a little on this album from lo-fi garage rock to a more mature alt-rock sound. And you can definitely hear a lot of different elements at play here/

The guitar work is a little grungy in parts, the harmonies nicely pitched somewhere between ’90’s indie rock and more mainstream metal. The keyboard here and there reminds me of Evanescence somehow. In any case, these elements all coalesce pretty convincingly. This is a great song. Check out the rest of the album too.
