Just under the polished contemporary pop exterior and indelible beat of Danish pop artist Nille Nyc’s brand new single, “About You” is something personal and proof that life is ever-evolving. In a quote provided to the GTC, the songwriter explains, “At times, I have tried to deny love, and instead let myself be carried away by money and power, but nothing is more important than love. The love of my family, my music, and myself. That is why I have also deliberately opted out of jobs as an engineer, which required all my time and focus because then there would be no room for love”

Produced by Christian Coer, this track is sure to light up the dance floor as it sparks a wave of thought and perhaps help those stuck in a mundane rat race to make the move to live their inner truths. Work, money, and adulation are all very fleeting. And so is love, more often than not, but this pursuit is so much more tangible and fulfilling. And now this journey has a new bop to soundtrack it all.

You can stream the inspiring “About You” and see its dreamy music video, now at the GTC.

There are probably not many who release their first songs at the age of 38, but I hope my story
can pave the way for future generations who – like my own younger self – did not dare to take the plunge. As an engineer, my everyday life is very technical and rational and it needs to be mixed with my soft, intuitive, and sensitive side in order for me to feel whole as a person. Following my ambitions as an artist has really made me a better mother, girlfriend, friend, and colleague
