Berlin indie queen Kitty Solaris returns with a dreamy post-punk charmer called “James Bond”. Again, Solaris teams up with producer Damian Press for this inquisitive track that asks, “Who is James Bond?” or better yet, what is James Bond? I guess you’ll have to put it on repeat until all your questions are answered.
“James Bond” comes with a seaside color splash music video that Solaris speaks about in a Facebook post dated 18 January, “In Lanzarote (Canary Islands), we visited Ann artist who lives in a kind of ruin without electricity and running water. After dinner, we slept in an old goat barn, while the wind whistled around the ruins. After a sleepless night, we spontaneously shot the video for “James Bond”. In the clip, Kitty dances in as the said wind does its thing to add the natural drama, surrounded by abandoned cars and old buildings. A bit of holiday fun and music, if you will.
