…so smooth, JOY AUTUMN Liar
Joy Autumn Liar is available on Deezer, Apple Music, Spotify
by Walter Price
Joy Autumn returns in a fast fashion with a sultry jazz-infused Feist-esque number called “Liar” and creeps be forewarned, this one is pointed.
Whatever smooth operator set the wheels in motion for this snappy pop song must’ve done a real number on Autumn and/or co-writer Kara Connolly. An older cat hitting on younger girls at the bar, the promises, the deceptions, and all the facades this player perpetrates are all too common in emotional manipulators. But, at the end of this particular journey, we the listeners have a song to bop to. But as we all know, this isn’t always the case.
You can stream Joy Autumn’s latest sing-a-long “Liar”, here at the GTC.
