…outta my head, AMY ELLEN Leave Me
by Walter Price
Call it a soliloquy, inner monologue, or verbalized introspection, Amy Ellen’s recent single “Leave Me” is another captivating and breezy song, but this one has a crunch. Written and produced by Ellen and partner Axel McDonald, this track has as much to do with the airy modern singer-songwriter fare Ellen has become known for as much as it has its roots in the heyday of alternative guitar rock. It’s quite a well-constructed balance. After all, this kind of emotional depth and meticulous production are what the evergrowing fanbase of Ellen has come to treasure.
Below you can stream “Leave Me” as well as watch its Emma Vision-directed color-splashed summertime-vibed music video, here at the GTC.

“Amy Ellen is a Dublin artist living in the French Alps. Her music is a combination of soft rock & dream pop with hints of the 90’s underground scene.” – bio
