Owl band Owl – “Waves”

by

Today’s track of the day comes from Owl. “Waves” is a song from the band’s debut album, which was released in 2009. They have recently posted this video for “Waves”, featuring photography and artwork by fans and friends of the band, documenting highlights from the past few years.

Owl now have 3 awesome albums that you should check out, and they are working on new music.

You can read my interview from last year with Jason Achilles Mezilis (guitars/backing vocals), HERE:

Hailmary bandHAILMARY –  “Fiction Burns”

by

Australian rockers Hailmary have released some amazing music over the last few years, and the band’s latest EP ‘Evolve Dissolve’ is no exception. This track -‘Fiction Burns’ – is taken from that EP, and it is such a terrific tune: now accompanied by a great lyric video.

Hailmary is based in Perth and Melbourne, and the band has just finished an Australian tour in support of the new EP. ‘Evolve Dissolve’ is available on iTunes and directly from the band at Bandcamp:.

by

The Ruins, an alternative rock band coming to us out of Ontario, Canada. Their information was dropped into our Soundwaves Review‘s (our sister site) suggestion box, but we thought it was a perfect fit here on our Rock And Roll blog.

From The Ruins recently released a 3-song EP called Wildcat Damage. Our featured track is from that EP. The song is called Voices, and here’s the music video:

From The Ruins is four veteran rockers who got together in 2013. They are:

Julien Michaud: Vocals and Lead Guitar
Adam Skinner: Vocals and Rhythm Guitar
Bryan Lake: Drummer
Brad Barnett: Bass
