Remember back 2013 when Loudwire reported that founding member and vocalist of As I Lay Dying, Tim Lambesis, was due in Vista, Ca court for murder for hire charges in connections with Lambesis trying to hire someone (an undercover cop) to kill his wife.

These charges shocked, I tell ya SHOCKED, the fans of this top of their genre metalcore band as well as the rest of the rock community.Well, Lambesis is FREE as a bird now after spending 3 years in prison. Word is he is engaged to be married and working on rockin’ again. But Tim is not the only rocker with ties to the criminal side of life. Have a gander at these other infamous rocker’s who found themselves in trouble with the law…

Sid Vicious: 1978, Mr. Vicious was charged with murder after the death of gal-pal Nancy Spungen. Made for a great film but we’ll never know the truth since this Sex Pistol pulled the tag of his own mattress and died of an overdose in early 1979 before the trial could run its course.

Ozzy: 1982, Mr. Osbourne took a sickening pee-pee all over the Alamo and made every Texan want to kill  have him arrested! He was drunk and dressed as a woman so that makes it okie dokie in the end. He paid his dues to society when he married Sharon.

GG Allin: Name a year, he was a disgusting human. That’s all.

Chuck Berry: 1959, Johnny Law charged the Johnny B. Goode singer with crimes relating to transporting a minor across state line Immoral Purposes. He spent about 1 1/2 years behind bars.

Varg Vikernes: 1993, he murdered Mayhem guitarist Euronymous by stabbing him 23 times. He was sentenced to 21 years in prison by a Norwegian court. 2013, Mr. Happy Go Lucky and his wife were arrested on suspicion of “plotting a massacre”.

Good grief…
