Pia Fraus – Empty Parks is available at Bandcamp.

by Walter Price
Estonian Shoegaze veterans, Pia Fraus, recently dropped their latest Dreampop masterclass, the ‘Empty Parks’ LP. Each of the 11 vinettes, soundtrack ready and primed to whisk you away. You’ll find unmistakable highlights with the post-punk gem “Love Sports”, the Chapterhouse reminiscent “Paper Flower Projects”, the dreamy jangle and synthscapes of “Sweet Sunday Snow”, and their recent single and lead track, “Hidden Parks”.
This release, an intricate track with its ethereal melody and lush harmonies, will no doubt remind fans of the band’s 2008 track “Springsister” from their ‘After Summer’ LP. And it’s an ideal gateway song into this spellbinding album. Stream it and the full LP below.
