ON’s era-defining self-titled LP is the gift that keeps on giving. This time, the trio has released another post-grunge sucker punch single, “Break You”. Of course, in this one’s mix, is their signature blend of all things classic vibed alt-rock and vocalist Lucy Di Santo is at her powerhouse best, but perhaps what’ll catch the ear of any diehard rocknroller on this release is that the band goes absolutely bonkers on the riffs and heavy groove. Going so far as to conjure up the spirits of Tool in the song’s final chapter. It’s akin to having all your favorite 90s alternative rocknroll songs in one window-rattling track.
Again, I can’t say enough about the powers of this band and their album. An album that in a decade’s time will remind us all that have heard it of the time we all navigated through. Just like your fave music from high school, college, and so ON…
