The debut self-titled LP from Melbourn-based, Scottish-born songcrafter Millar Jukes is a brand new take on what neo-soul can be. Void of any paint-by-numbers formulas here, the 11 tracks, produced by Lachlan Bryan, transition between a vast array of styles with its intricate arrangments and it’s as emotional and funky in parts as it is brilliantly eccentric in others.
