Quit your shitty job, sign up at that neighborhood Jiu Jitsu academy, pamper yourself a bit more, or perhaps accomplish something on your ever-expanding todo list….whichever your seemingly lofty goal(s) may be, Calgary’s Miesha and The Spanks have a brand new crunchy anthem called “It’s My Year” to nudge you in the right direction.
This better-the-louder-you crank-it single is an alt-rock blaster that comes replete with a brilliant and near-surreal music video. Watch the rocknrollers entertain at an almost lackluster yet sparkly celebration that gets cookin’ once its eclectic group of partiers realize they can go their own way, be who they wanna be, and boogie in all the newfound empowerment.
