From an album that lands smack dab in between Cocteau Twins and My Bloody Valentine, Australia’s Majestic Horses drop a crunchy shoegaze masterstroke single.
The debut album, ‘Away from the Sun’, and the track, “Call You Out”, will take you back to the heyday of 90s introspective alt-rock n roll. Led by Kellie Lloyd (Screamfeeder) and joined by Andrew P Street (Career Girls) and Kate Wilson (The Holy Soul), this trio and their LP are hidden in plain sight gems. From the cinematic depths of the songwriting to the stellar production, handled by Dave Carter and Keelan Sanders, this entire project is ethereal distortion at its best.
