SCREAMING EAGLES ‘BREAKIN’ ALL THE RULES’
Holy hotness! This new video and tune from Screaming Eagles is rock and roll awesome at its best. The track is taken from the band’s latest album, a blistering collection of rock and roll called Stand Up And Be Counted. To quote my own review of that album:
Make me pick just one word to describe Northern Ireland’s Screaming Eagles, and it would have to be “hot”. As in fire. As in flames. As in rock’n’roll that doesn’t mess you around, or let you down, or come up short. As in music that gets your heart racing and your blood pumping, and puts a ridiculously happy smile on your face.

SHE DEMONS ‘FRESH BLOOD’
She Demons have debuted a brand new video for the track ‘Fresh Blood’ – and it has a definite horror and vampire twist. She Demons is fronted by Priya Panda – who is also the lead singer of kick-ass Canadian crew Diemonds. The other She Demons are Constance Day and Kiki Wongo on guitars, Alicia Vigil on bass, and Jessica Goodwin on drums.
I love the sound of this tune, and Priya Panda always brings it on when it comes to vocals.
She Demons is currently on tour with Misfits (the band was originally brought together by Misfits’ Jerry Only), and all tour-dates can be found on the band’s Facebook page

RIVAL SONS ‘OPEN MY EYES (LIVE AT JUKE JOINT STUDIO)’
Rival Sons have just spent time in the studio, and have reportedly finished work on a brand new album. Until that’s out, you can check out the tour edition of their latest release Great Western Valkyrie. It includes several new tracks, and some live versions of other tracks from the album, including this superb live version of ‘Open My Eyes’.
Can’t wait to hear the new album, but this will have to do in the meantime!

Here’s the video for the studio-version of the track, just for comparison, and because it’s such a tasty, crunchy tune.
