…when you call my name, SINGLE: KITTY SOLARIS – Easy
Kitty Solaris – Easy is available at Spotify, Apple Music.

by Walter Price
With Kitty Solaris’ new single, “Easy”, one could imagine what it would sound and feel like if Lana Del Rey or perhaps Cat Power were crafting brooding Dark-wave. From her forthcoming LP ‘Sunglasses’, this original new track hearkens back to the era when the worlds of post-punk, goth and synth-pop merged to create new sonic landscapes. With Solaris’ poignantly subtle vocals replete with the contrasting Alison Moyet-esque highlights, this song is another enticing indication of things to come from the highly anticipated new album.

“Kitty Solaris is cool and direct, soft, sincere, underground, and disco. And yes, all of it. She knows the best roads through the city and through its people. She started writing songs in her kitchen leading to no less than six albums!” – bio
