Eagles History On Tour

By Walter Price

As you may already know, Eagles, are out on a world tour and have recently announced their European dates via their website. All kicking off 22 May of 2014 in Amsterdam.
Never you mind how they acquired their ‘original’ sound, The Eagles are absolutely one of the best bands in music history. Hands down the kings of laid back country rockin’ classic tunes that can fill a road trip with just the right vibe to pass the road miles with ease.
Don’t forget that earlier this year they released one of the most honest rockumentary offerings  the world has seen, the must view History Of The Eagles by Alison Ellwood.
Man, they let it all hang-out and it will leave you digging their musical and personal journeys even more than you probably do now.
“Since we survived, we decided that, after 40 years or so, it was worth keeping some kind of record. I’m going to have some explaining to do to my children.” Don Henley (Dave Itzkoff interview New York Times)
There you have it, another great holiday gift idea and one the greatest bands to come out of the 70’s are on a world tour. All is well in the lands. Plus, I have word that they’ll be breaking up in 1980….So you best catch them while you can….
