…meant to be, JENN GRANT Downtown Christmas Eve
Jenn Grant Downtown Christmas Eve is available on Forever On Christmas Eve, Tidal, Deezer

Christmas albums that are chockablock of Holiday standards are more often than not the happiest and warmest places to spend a chilly day sipping hard eggnog as tinsel shimmers and tiny lights twinkle. And some big names have gifted us all some of the most seminal go-to’s this time of year. For me, though, there’s not a better Christmas LP to slip on as the windows frost over and the streets empty out for family affairs than Jenn Grant’s “Forever On Christmas Eve”.
Throughout you’ll love the vibes of Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, and Connie Francis but if you want to slip into something original, it’s a must to spend time with Grant’s The Chantels-esque original number, “Downtown Christmas Eve”. Finding its rightful place amongst such classics as “Winter Wonderland”, “White Christmas”, “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”, and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”, this modern classic is gorgeously scenic.
Grant’s bluesy vocals are warm and the timeless arrangement is as silky as they come, both invite you to take this one for a spin as the elves do their thing and you settle in for another cozy Holiday with love all around, whatever and wherever that may be.
You can stream “Downtown Christmas Eve”, here at the GTC.
