The new pedal-to-the-medal single, “Not Dead Yet”, from going her own way DEVORA, is all about empowerment. Being her first solo offering, this Arizona native is blending desert rock, ghost towns, and all the haunts that Route 66 still keeps hidden. This churning lament on taking the reigns of one’s own life and direction wrapped up in the throbbing psych-rock song like this is one helluva way to start out on a new path.
And take it from me, if this track wasn’t expulsive enough, check out the film directed by Leven Rambin. This is cinematic rock n roll perfection. Replete with snakes, scorpions and set in a sleazy motel room awash in red light. All utilized in brilliant fashion to tell the tale of the sexy and welcomed dangerousness of what lies ahead. Or, as Rambin describes it in an Instagram post, “Not Dead Yet” reflects the resilience, perseverance, and boldness of moving forward while celebrating life in the fast lane.”

“A rebel at heart, DEVORA has always taken the road less traveled and her reputation precedes her. Singing and writing since she was a small child, music comes second nature to her, as she was continuously writing short stories and poetry while growing up in a small desert town.” – bio
