Building your Autumn playlist would not be complete without Band of Horses’ 2007 seminal album Cease to Begin. Their second album got a bit more sparse from what the brilliant ‘Everything All the Time’ had to offer. A little more post-punk alt-country meets Southern Gothic. Textures feeding in the shadows of faint hope. It’s a heavy album at times, that carries your soul through imagery of changes. But the moments of airiness balance it all out and your open road Autumn playlist is nearing perfection.
