Your GTC Weekly Top Ten: 7 – 13 July 2014

Cobra Ramone
As Germany wakes up to realization they’re world fussball champs it reminds us of Hunter S. Thompson’s hangover cure of “12 poppers and as many beers as possible.” Although not recommended by The GTC, we get the angle….
Last week was one of the more intriguing week’s we’ve seen in these here part of the internets in some time. We would like to thank the little artist & band of greasy blues stained Rock N’ Roll from Vancouver, Cobra Ramone, for stopping by to let us in on their music, strip clubs, the apocalypse, space camp and Mexico.
Also fascinating is what we learned this past week. Honeyblood are keeping it simple and real, Yacht Rock lives on and you love it, Neil Young is still king of the stage, The Walkabouts have legs, Black Swift just dropped a sweet album, Sliotar are about to folk things up in your town, The GTC All Time Top 10 is looking a lot different these days, Ed Sheeran is a powerful black artist, Kloot, peoples like to dispute things Beatles, Christine McVie is older and foxier than your mother and sadly the world has lost the last original Ramones, R.I.P. Tommy.
How was your week?
Cheers to you for stopping by to take a look-see at the goings on over here at your ole GTC. We wish you a fine week and make this promise to you. This coming week will prove to be one of the most surprising weeks Global Texan Chronicles has seen yet! You’ll have to stay tuned to see what we have in store…
