Your GTC Weekly Top Ten: 4 – 10 August 2014

marketa to the rightWe have absolutely no idea what David Byrne was talking about when he said, “To shake your rump is to be environmentally aware.” But we do know that a week has past and a new one is upon us like bees on a snow cone.

This past week we learned that Courtney Love is horrible with money, true country music lives, J.P. Kallio never stops the rock, Morrissey this and that’s fill every corner of the universe, someone must have a gun to ZZ Top’s heads, you should be listening to Cole Washburn’s EP, NME must stay in a perpetual drunken state, Lovers Electric raises the bar (again), Jarvis Cocker likes 9 year old hitokara, we continue to find Sinéad O’Connor endlessly fascinating …

and sadly we continue to take in that people are still dying in large numbers at music festivals. Stop the madness; take care of yourselves and your fellow music lovers and festival safely.

As always, thank you for stopping the webpages of The GTC. We heart you deeply.
