The GTC wishes Chaim Witz a Very Happy 64th Birthday!
We all know and love him as Gene Klein Simmons the co-founder of the greatest live band in history, KISS! (Pink Floyd & GWAR also have very entertaining stage shows as well) KISS has performed over 2000 concerts so they should have their act together by now. Not to mention the 80 million plus albums sold worldwide.
Let’s not forget his acting, writing of books, producing TV/Film/Music and his crazy successful business acumen. Selling any and everything from Toyota’s to anything with the KISS logo slapped on it! Do we need any of it, NO! But it’s better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it! Right, Gene?
I would like to thank you on personal level for giving me one of the oddest interviews of my career back 2002. I get it, you like the ladies…Sorry your magazine didn’t last.
So Thank You for being born and keeping us in the rock for going on 40 years!
We also wish Declan Patrick Aloysius Macmanus a Happy 59th Birthday!
Better known as Elvis Costello, you have provided us with a variety of musical styles and charm over the decades. So we thank you for keeping the musical landscape opened wide. Variety is the spice of life….
“I believe that music is connected by human passions and curiosities rather than by marketing strategies.” – Elvis Costello
“The radio is in the hands of such a lot of fools tryin’ to anesthetize the way that you feel.” – Elvis Costello
Also Born Today: Ron Halford – Judas Priest (1951), Candida Doyle – PULP (1963), Norman ‘Terminator X’ Rogers – Public Enemy (1966) and, yes, Billy Ray Cyrus (1961)
