VIDEO The Naysayers I Hate Your Band

Favorite bands are cool, and one of my fave bands are back with a DIY video that fits the band and their single to a T. And why shouldn’t it, the clip for “I Hate Your Band” was handled by The Naysayers’ in-house artist and  budding auteur Gordon Holland.

Holland did the right thing, the band is there almost hidden behind lo-fi contrast and static, in what appears to be a rehearsal space and the true star of the music video is the killer surf-y garage-rock track itself. As it should be. The guys can mug in the next video…

Back in February I had these words about “I Hate Your Band”:

“Aussie garage outfit The Naysayers are back with new spellbinding Rock N Roll single “I Hate Your Band”. Not only are these guys continuing their careers with revamped but certainly well rooted garage rock but these fuckers can play. This time round the guys are all summer surfed out in blazing gnarls and harmonies you need in your ears holes immediately!

And yes, there are elements of punk mixed in. Just enough for you to want to kick something.”
