…whisper secrets to you, TWINNE Astronaut
by Walter Price
Just sneaking in under the merriment of the end of year Holiday celebrations, regrets, lessons learned, and hopes for all the what’s next, Vietnamese American songwriter/performer Twinne drops her delicate lullaby debut, “Astronaut”.
Working with producer and all-around/multifaceted busy-bee and champion of the up-and-coming, BAO, Twinne delivers “Astronaut” with a kind of gentle innocence that feels like moments lived. And the feeling that the storyteller is singing a diary entry adds all the palpable realism. Or, as Twinne might say, “(Astronaut) encapsulated in a gently confident expression of love.” Indeed it does.
BAO has told me that this single is just the start of a handful of future collaborative releases. And for a debut single, all signs point to Twinne making a huge splash and an everlasting mark in the pop world.
You can stream “Astronaut”, here at the GTC.

“Twinne creates comforting music that aims to carry the listener from place to place. Her music isn’t always happy or exciting, but it does acknowledge that the world is a very difficult place to be in, and it speaks to the many young people today who are simultaneously disillusioned and seeking comfort in authenticity.” – artist bio
