TEN BENSON RETURN! Half an Hour from Hell / Five Hundred Miles
Ten Benson Half an Hour from Hell / Five Hundred Miles on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp.
by Walter Price
The greatest achievement a rock n roll band can have is to have a sound so distinct that any fan or nervous neighbor can recognize it coming from miles away. Motörhead, T.Rex, Melvins, and of course, our favorite international band of dirty riffs, Ten Benson!
And after a short time laying wait someplace in the hinter worlds, the UK sludge rockers return with not just one but two new gut-pounding tracks, Half an Hour from Hell / Five Hundred Miles. And don’t worry your dented noggins you diehard devotees, Chris Teckkam & Crew haven’t lost a single ounce of their chugging signature sound. All the grit, unexpected melody, and those window-rattling guitar riffs that can wake the deadest of the dead are all back where they belong. Out in the wild!
These tracks are part of a larger project titled ‘In Bed With…Ten Benson‘, expected sometime in 2022. Expect a handful of new singles to drop before then, so we have some time to wait in sweaty anticipation. As we do so, you can stream Half an Hour from Hell / Five Hundred Miles, now at the GTC.
Welcome back Ten Benson, this bizarre new world needs your brand of rock n roll to melt our worries away and our faces off…

“Ten Benson are a rock band from London, United Kingdom formed in 1997. Their early releases saw them described as “psychedelic hillbillies”,[3] but they later moved on to a (cod-)heavy metal sound.” – Wiki
