2014 was the year I finally put out an album I’d been working on for the last seven years. I got to tour the UK and Germany with Paul Gonzenbach from one of my all-time favourite bands, The Jim Yoshii Pile-Up: It was the absolute best playing at people’s houses and we made some really great friends.
At the same time, I started recording the second album with my friend, Rob Sandall, where we got to work with most of our musical heroes – Matt Pryor from The Get Up Kids, Jamie Lenman from Reuben, Charlie Simpson from Busted/Fightstar, S H Davidson from Tellison and Andrew Futral from The Age of Rockets and Field Mouse. We couldn’t be happier with it and can’t wait for people to hear it in 2015.
