The Amorettes – “White Russian Roulette”
by ‘White Russian Roulette’ is a hard-rocking track taken from The Amorettes album ‘White Hot Heat’ (read my review). It’s a fantastic tune and the video is made up of footage from the band’s performance at Planet Rockstock in December of 2016.
The Amorettes is hitting the road for several gigs in March:

Trucker Diablo – “Murder Ballad”
by Trucker Diablo has a wealth of awesome rock and roll tunes in their repertoire, and when it comes to power ballads that are equal parts heart-tugging, beautiful, fiery, AND fierce, they are masters. This ‘Track of the Day’ is a case in point: ‘Murder Ballad’, taken from the band’s album ‘Rise Above The Noise’ (read my review).
Right now, there’s a Pledge campaign for the band’s next album ‘Fighting For Everything’, and you can check it out at Pledge Music.
Trucker Diablo has also just been confirmed for Rambling Man Fair in July, making that festival even more awesome. I wish I could be there for that! The lineup looks flat-out fantastic.
Puppet Kings – “Rich N’ White”

My ‘Track of the Day’ is the brilliant “Rich N’ White”, by Puppet Kings.
The song was released to coincide with Donald Trump’s inauguration. The band issued the following statement on their Facebook page:
Puppet Kings are extremely proud to announce our brand new single… ‘Rich N’ White’!
2016 was a year of great upheaval. We have witnessed just about every type of shock and horror this year and it has been almost entirely negative.
This song means a lot to us and we have addressed what we believe to be important and meaningful issues happening right now. Sometimes we are blinded by the great privilege we have and ignore factors that led us to where we are now in the first place.
Now more than ever, we need to resist our primal urges of fear and hatred of the other, and instead deal with the many challenges facing the world with a large dose of understanding and humanity.
We really hope you enjoy this song and it speaks to you as much as it does for us.
