N.W.A., Ice-T, John Mellencamp, and many more music artists have had problems with ‘authority’ and have immortalized these frustrations in song. In the cases of N.W.A. and Ice-T, things got a little out of hand. You see, people in charge have this thing where they do Not like to be judged or debated by the common folk.

Well, The Doggfather Snoop D O double G has had his run-ins with the law during his stoned storied history-making career. Now he’s expressed his frustrations with the new President of the United States of America, Mr. Donald Trump In his serious and satirical video for “Lavender” Snoop appears to use a clown’s weapon of choice to not actually threaten to kill anyone but make a statement of anger.

Tweeting Trump is none too happy as he hit Twitter with this bit, “Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!”. Well, was Obama, or George W. anything near as odd as Trump’s antics. Rhetorical of course.

Snoop has names in his corner covering his back. There is Ice-T and Treach of course but the seemingly the strongest worded support come from T.I. The “That’s All she Wrote” rapper blasted, “u F***ing Tangerine Tanned Muskrat scrotum skin, Lacefront Possum fur Wig wearing, Alternative fact, Atomic Dog diarrhea face ass man!!!!”

Is this much ado about nothing or is threatening a clownish caricature of the President a step too far. Controversy is all the rage and has been since the beginning of recorded time. C’est la vie.
