Psychedelic-Dark Turns of Samantha Crain Oh Dear Louis Video

Samantha Crain gets bloody in “Oh Dear Louis” Video.

Samantha Crain is a new name to me and her discovery has blown my mind. Being introduced to this artist via her new Jared Evans directed video for “Oh Dear Louis” smacked a sense bewilderment into my soul. Taken from her forthcoming album, You Had Me At Goodbye (out March 24, 2017), the clip doesn’t let the metaphors of the lyrics go unnoticed. In an early 70’s psychedelic B-horror film landscape à la Larry Cohen, Crain gets bloody and a dear friend finds her end (?) matched by the perfected pop soundtrack.

As of today, I am a steadfast Samantha Crain fan.
