Road-Songs: “I’ve Been Everywhere Man”

Back on this very day in 1962 Hank Snow was at the #1 spot on Billboard’s country singles chart with the Geoff Mack penned “I’ve Been Everywhere Man”.

I’ve Been Everywhere Man went on to be recorded by the top names in the music biz of all genres and a version for almost every land. Asleep At The Wheel, Johnny Cash, Jackie Leven, Statler Brothers, Lucky Star (original recording) and Lynn Anderson to name a very few.

Geoff Mack is still kickin’ it in Australia at the fresh age of 90! Long live Geoff and big thanks for writing on of the best road-songs in music history!

Take a look/listen to the selected versions and let us know which one you think is tops!
