THOSE DAMN CROWS – Say It

by Maria Haskins

This is a kick-ass live performance by Those Damn Crows, and I am just loving the passion and heavy, hard-rocking muscle the guys put into the track here. LOVE IT.

Those Damn Crows hail from Bridgend in South Wales, and the band members are Shane Greenhall, Ian “Shiner” Thomas, Lloyd Wood, Ronnie Huxford, and David Winchurch. Their debut album “Murder and the Motive” is out now.

PAPA ROACH – Renegade Music

by Maria Savva

Papa Roach released a couple of new songs recently, “Who Do You Trust?” and today’s track of the day, “Renegade Music”.

Both songs are from an upcoming album, and both sound awesome. This is a band that never disappoints, I can’t wait to hear the new album!

KURT VILE – Loading Zones

by Neil Schiller

I usually try to write about music by bands and artists that are slightly less well known I guess. Just starting out maybe, or have more of a cult status. Kurt Vile is probably more high profile than most, but I’ve picked this just because I genuinely like it so much. It makes me happy every time I hear it.

He somehow makes the lyrics sound deep and profound, it’s very Dylanesque. But he is ultimately singing about parking spaces, right? I love that. I love anything that manages to find poetry in the mundane. Along with that nice jangly guitar that reminds me of mid-career R.E.M. it’s a nice way to end the week I think.

Have a great weekend.
