…Pursuits to impress, MONOWHALES – Out With The Old
MONOWHALES – Out With The Old is available at Bandcamp, Apple Music, Spotify.

“The world is being forced to reset and we’re anxiously caught in the cycle. Our new single, “Out With The Old,” is an anthem for the disenfranchised, centering on the loss of innocence and entitlement which we’ve all experienced over the past year.”, Toronto’s Monowhales are poignantly quoted.
And the single is an indie-rock firecracker. With one foot in the blazing sounds of the 90s alt-rock heyday and another in the now, this song is a stunning calling card for their forthcoming 7-track album, ‘Daytona Bleach’. The band’s Sally Shaa’s vocals will make fans of Shirley Manson and Poe’s Anne Danielewski revel in oh yeah! as they soak up the zeitgeist realities of the song’s message. Getting stuck into the bottomless pit of likes, views, comments, expectations, and fashion savvy fairytales of social media can all be a soul-sucking tsunami. And trying to navigate such turbulent waters during the past year we’ve all had to endure, it’s all become even more magnified and certainly more detrimental. And this single stands to be the voice of courage many are looking for.
And before the March 5th release of ‘Daytona Bleach’, you can stream “Out With The Old” as well as the band’s Spotify top hits, now at the GTC.

“Maybe the world isn’t what you thought it was, or maybe it’s even worse than you could have ever imagined. Like it or not, it’s our generation’s responsibility to carve a path forward.” – MONOWHALES
