Pure and catchy, San Juan Puerto Rico’s Los Vigilantes recent single “Que Descaro” harkens back to the heyday of jangly garage rock made famous (and groovy) by the Byrds and Searchers with enough punk rock ethos to keep its edge intact.
The accompanying video is a take-it-easy look at the band and its on-the-road downtime adventures, street life/food, and cultural vibes. Shot entirely by the band itself, the film is a grainy realistic deep dive into a little-seen part of a touring outfit’s road experiences.
