Marquee of the night, SINGLE/VIDEO: KILLER HEARTS – “Killed By Volume” [Spaghetty Town Records]
Killer Hearts, self-titled EP is available now @ Bandcamp.

by Walter Price
If Houston’s Killer Hearts are trying to prove a point with their recent self-titled EP, its probably to remind all of us old (and new) school Texas punk fans to remember the beer, sweat, blood, and smoke-drenched rooms across the Lone Star State. The dingy tastes left in our mouths form spaces like Orbit Room, Trees, Emo’s, Alamo City, and countless living rooms and backyards throughout Fort Worth, Waco, College Station, and H-Town…Spots that have left distinct marks on our tongues and souls. And this band embodies much of what my and your meandering youth was all about. Raw, raucous, and uninhibited.
Point, taken…
