Jim breuerIf you’re a fan of the glory eras of Heavy Metal. Those days of Black Sabbath, Mötley Crüe, Slayer, Judas Priest, you know the list of metal gods, and you wear dad jeans. Jim Breuer and The Loud & Rowdy are here to rock your garage. The ‘dad jeans’ thing might be a bit too much to say. But Breuer, better known as a legendary comedian, has made a fascinatingly brilliant ode to those days of metal we all cherish. The album, “Songs from the Garage”(produced by Rob Caggiano), is an earnest rock album with twists of parenthood.

There are some humorous lyrics riding on some killer rock ‘n’ roll on the band’s album, but not in a punchline sort of way, but the sort that allows the listener to let loose, smile and rock the f— out! Listen closely to the album, you will find a couple surprises that will shoot to thrill.

Check out the track/video below for the single “Thrash” down below. A track that takes the dadness that thrives when the house empties out. Down goes the garage door, on goes the headphones, up goes the volume and THRASH!

Jim Breuer comments: “‘Thrash’ pretty much wraps up what this project and album represents! This song is for people that grew up with rock and hard rock who now have families, but still love to take the time to throw down & thrash!”
