It Is 60 Years for Alex Lifeson
The GTC would like to wish Aleksandar Živojinović AKA Alex Lifeson a Very Happy 60th Birthday.
As the co-founder of one the three best rock bands to exist, Rush, you have kept every young kid with a secondhand guitar stuck in his/her room for hours and days on end trying to emulate, duplicate, impersonate, replicate or straight up mangle your masterful guitar work.
We thank you Alex for contributing to Rock N’ Roll like very few can say they have.
Now, some word from you…
“With ‘One Little Victory,’ I love the idea that Neil is the one who starts the record and he starts it with such a fury and it just says, ‘We’re back.’ And the whole sentiment of that song about being aware of those little successes — the daily little things that really count — that we so often take for granted.” – Alex Lifeson
“When I look out at the audience at some of our shows, I think we are reaching a younger audience… I see lots of people in their 30s and 40s, but I also see a lot of people in their young and middle teens, and that’s definitely reassuring.” – Alex Lifeson
“And on top of that, when we work together we have a wonderful working relationship we push each other we challenge each other we laugh 80% of the time that we are together we’re very fortunate.” – Alex Lifeson
