From their newly released 10-track LP ‘Crime Fever‘ Boston noise rockers, DYR FASER, have cemented their journey into the distortion-heavy 1960s-esque garage rock arena with the deep cut “Inner Voice”.
With nods to The Troggs, Velvet Underground, and the like this track is loaded with DF’s signature atmospheric noise, distorted melody, and lyrical depths. Maintaining this avant-garde duo (Eric Boomhower and Amelia May) have been keeping one foot in their true-to-self disobedience while another is a near linear artistry progression. This song proves, once again, that formulaic standards will not contain this outfit.
