From their hotly anticipated album ‘Dancing With Angels’, BEAUTY IN CHAOS has dropped a music video for their latest single “Holy Ground” feat. Patrik Mata (Kommunity FK).
Lush, dark, and meticulously produced by Michael Rozon—this track, about the perils of earthly seductions, harkens back to the glory days of the post-punk darkwave of our collective 80s coming-of-ages. Of course, the band is again spectacular on this single but, for me, the magic with this one is the vocals/lyrics of Patrik Mata. Until now, I hadn’t been familiar with Mata. An instant fan I’ve become—as the words paint a shadowy scene, I’ve had no choice but to fall into his underworldly gaze.
“Holy Ground” comes complete with a gorgeous Vicente Cordero-directed music video. And, today, you watch the film and witness the mesmerizing cinematography of Fernando Cordero—here at the GTC.
