Further proof that no one can put Rocknrollers Broken Baby in the corner LA Weekly’s Brett Callwood has proclaimed, “No hyperbole here, but Broken Baby are one of the greatest live bands in Los Angeles right now.”, and I don’t know this for sure, but I’d have to say that it just has to be true. Blazing single after single, some of the best in-house video productions going, and lyrics that say something deeper than your average rock band has the ability to. So their live shows must be dynamite. So, why isn’t this duo your favorite band yet?!
Fine, maybe their brand new single “Hand Heat” will flip ya. It’s so yummy you may get bloated from all the Fuck Yeah vibes you’re about to ingest. And I’d have to say, that it’s their most melodic to date, which is harder than you think to say. Kinda like if Blur and Skating Polly decided to move to LA and make a go of it, together. Plus referencing Nada Surf is quite an unexpected surprise. And speaking of their knack for DIY video productions, the accompanying music video is a real visual trip. You’ll have to see it to figure out how in the world did they replace their own heads.

Back to Skating Polly and live shows for a sec, Broken Baby has announced that they will be supporting the Oklahoma natives on their upcoming tour. Jeebus Rice, this is a terrible time to not be living in the good ole U.S of A.
