Catnyp No Hope

by Walter Price

Proving once again that Montana alt-rock architect Henderson K Shatner’s CATNYP can’t be pigeonholed, the outfit drops the Led Zepplin-inspired, “No Hope”. Coming in at a brisk 2:22, this post-punk rocker is a powderkeg driven by sucker-punch-beats by Emily Dolan Davies and interwoven with Shatner’s Plant-esque primal wails. Not to mention the signature pointed commentary wrapped up in this jabbing modern classic rock track. All and all, pure CATNYP throughout.

“No Hope” is taken from the much-anticipated forthcoming LP “CATNYP III”, whích is expected on April 22nd. You can stream the single here at the GTC and see the surreal animated music video, here.
