Let’s quickly rewind to 2015 and Melissa Polinar’s hidden in-plain-sight two-track EP “Live at Room 5 Sessions”. A gorgeous performance set that’ll have fans of Nora Jones, Diana Krall, Katie Melua, and the like pouring cups of tea and swaying in their socked feet.

Via the accompanying music videos shot during recording, Polinar adds a little context to the sessions. “One Los Angeles afternoon, me and “my guys” wanted to play music and record videos. 🙂 I’ve had the wonderful privilege to play shows and events with Rob, Andrew, and Will for the past year or so. They bring out a different part of me – as a musician/performer. It’s so much fun to perform with them.

“Find You” is a song off my last album (Calls & Echoes – 2014). I love performing this song live but I haven’t had the chance to share via YouTube,” speaking about “Meant To Be”, she adds, “This was recorded a few months ago (2015) with a few of my favorite musicians and friends. I wanted to record this “old-school Polinar song” with this band. If you’ve been following me on YouTube for years, you know what I’m talking about regarding this song. Anyways, ’twas so much fun recording this! I hope you enjoy. Thank you for the love!”
