3 Reasons Why Ten Benson

by Walter Price   The UK’s been on hiatus for what seems forever low slung riffs rockers Ten Benson have left a mark on the music scene. Gaining high praise and wiggly eyebrows from the likes of John Peel, Kerrang, NME and Melody Maker. The last one said of the band, “So perfectly shit it’s shiftily perfect in a shit/perfection interface scenario.” They’ve been labeled as swamp rock, heavy metal and psycho-hillbilly and it all fits. I personally call ringleader Chris Teckkam a mad rock genius but that’s just me. My history with the band goes back many years. A band that creates rock n’ roll in a style that blows your fuses, senses and understandings of what gut twisting rock should be. No one formula to restrict and no need for corporate control in their sounds creations. As Teckkam holes up someplace unknown with his continued plans of a massive Earth shattering comeback (don’t call it a comeback) I thought it a good idea to travel 3 reasons why Ten Benson.   Ten Benson: Website / Twitter
