Real-deal Alt-country ‘star on the rise’ is a misnomer of sorts, see, Lee has been around forging a solid career for years. Touring, producing and playing with Howlin’ Lord, Screamin’ Miss Jackson & The Slap Ya’ Mama Big Band among others. And let us not forget Lee collaborated with production duo The Insects on a version of the folk song ‘A Lyke Wake Dirge’ for the soundtrack to the BBC drama series ‘The Living and the Dead’.
