If you live long enough you’ll find yourself pondering the whereabouts of faded memories and the folks that helped form them. That’s the just of The Heavy North’s single, “Where Are They Now”, which dropped earlier this year. Better late to the party than not at all, right…
The reflective subject matter aside, what makes this new-to-me outfit’s single a real barn burner is that firecracker bluesy 70s groove. With riffs and vocals tickling the grunge era and thunderous beats, this track has a lil something for all of us rocknrollers. Lightning.
