Infectious twang, SINGLE: TED Z and the WRANGLERS – “Corner Store”
Ted Z and the Wranglers – Corner Store is available @ Soundcloud.

by Walter Price
When the press release for Ted Z’s new single, “Corner Store”, hit my email with the description, ‘Infectious twang’, I jumped on it like Larry David on irony. Me being both a fan of authentic outlaw honky-tonk fare and diseases, I had an instant inkling this track was going to hit the spot before I could even hear a note. Then when I had a half dozen hears…was it as I’d predicted?
And how! Like a multifaceted classic you’d associate with names like Wayne ‘The Train’ Hancock and Robert Earl Keen with splashes of Elvis, jam-band grooves, and harmonies galore…this tune is a plain ole pull-your-cooler-up dancefloor-good-time.
“Corner Store” is from Ted Z and the Wrangler’s forthcoming album Southland. Unfortunately, I don’t have a solid release date or official artwork as of yet. Follow the links below for band updates and you can watch an album EPK, here.
