Pussy Riot empower the vagina?

I want to support Pussy Riot, and I do. But this new track “Straight Outta Vagina”, although catchy (the rap is killer) and a splash of fun…is a plain ole rip-off. Missy Elliot probably isn’t worried or cares and most likely supports the vagina anthem. But there is this thing in the new world where you HAVE to support whatever empowering vessel that’s going on and this is a problem.
The Vagina Monologues set to music would be lame as well, but more from the heart and not as much of the gimmicky feel as is “Straight Outta Vagina”.
Don’t play stupid, don’t play dumb, vagina is where you really from…
Double entendres are plenty but word play can not save this attention for attention sakes track. And those ultra huge, and popular ‘music’ mags and sites that showered this thing with adulations should be ashamed. Pussy Riot at their core are great, but this non-punk rock, no real message song misses the opportunity to say something tactile…
